Lg. Magnificent Cape Medical Aloe Plant Plant (aloe ferox)

$24.00

Cape Medical Aloe is a bold, imposing species known for its broad, lance-shaped, fleshy leaves lined with sharp black spines along the margins and surfaces. The foliage has a rugged, commanding presence, giving the plant a distinctly tough, architectural look. Commonly used for commercial aloe gel production, this species is valued for its high gel content within each substantial leaf.
Can reach mature heights of over 9 feet on a single trunk, developing into a striking, top-heavy specimen over time. Flower spikes rise 2–4 feet above the plant, adding seasonal height and color. Best suited for in-ground planting in open areas, it should be placed away from foot traffic due to its sharp spines. Performs best in full sun with excellent drainage, where it can develop into a dramatic focal point in the landscape.Aloes thrive in-pots or in-ground where other plants struggle. Full sun, sandy soil, irregular watering, they’re completely comfortable in those conditions. That makes them ideal for low-water landscapes. Once established, aloe asks for very little. No constant pruning, no frequent feeding, and minimal pest issues. Smaller varieties are ideal for bright indoor windowsills and succulent dish gardens whereas larger varieties are impressive outdoors on the patio or inground.
