Philodendron Pedatum Variegata Plant

$45.25

Philodendron pedatum Variegata vs Philodendron Florida Variegated. Both are eye-catching, highly collectible varieties, but they grow and color quite differently.
Pedatum Variegata typically has shorter internode spacing, giving it a tighter, fuller appearance. Its variegation is generally more consistent and stable, making it easier to maintain strong color over time. The petioles are green and often striped with yellow, adding subtle extra detail. Leaf color can range anywhere from solid neon yellow to deep green, sometimes showing a wide spectrum of tones on a single plant.
Florida Variegated, on the other hand, tends to grow a bit more stringy with longer spacing between nodes. It can be more challenging to maintain strong variegation, as color may fluctuate depending on light and growth conditions. However, it stands out with its distinct red petioles, which add bold contrast against the variegated foliage.
