Tropical Amazonica Aloe Plant (aloe fragilis)

$19.00

Tropical Amazonica Aloe is a striking, open-rosette aloe with light green, lance-shaped leaves dappled in deeper green tones. The foliage is thin and crisp, with fine, minutely toothed edges, giving the plant a delicate appearance that sets it apart from more rigid varieties. Care should be taken when handling, as the leaves can snap easily.
Freely pupping, 1 will turn into 20 in no time, quickly forming clusters that enhance its presence in containers or garden settings. In summer, slender flower spikes rise up to 2 feet above the foliage, carrying gently arching stems of pale red tubul.Aloes thrive in-pots or in-ground where other plants struggle. Full sun, sandy soil, irregular watering, they’re completely comfortable in those conditions. That makes them ideal for low-water landscapes. Once established, aloe asks for very little. No constant pruning, no frequent feeding, and minimal pest issues. Smaller varieties are ideal for bright indoor windowsills and succulent dish gardens whereas larger varieties are impressive outdoors on the patio or inground. Due to the brittle nature of some Aloe species, please take care when unpacking as this is typically when most plant damage occurs. Should damage occur, simply continue to care for the plant as it will continue to produce new leaves and grow.
